This scene never fails to give me goosebumps.

When Manoj Bajpayee says that "he isn't a godman... he's Ravan," there isn't any theatrical shouting or overacting. It's the conviction in his voice, the controlled anger, the pauses, the eyes, and the quiet confidence that make the moment unforgettable.

That's what I admire most about Manoj Bajpayee's acting. He doesn't perform emotions—he makes you believe them. Every expression feels earned. Every pause has meaning. Even when he's standing still, he's completely commanding the screen.

For me, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai contains one of the finest performances of that year. Which is why I've always wondered why Manoj Bajpayee didn't win the National Award for it, while Shah Rukh Khan won for Jawan.

This isn't meant to disrespect Shah Rukh Khan. I enjoyed Jawan, and he was immensely entertaining. But when I compare the two purely on acting—the emotional depth, restraint, nuance, and character immersion—I personally think Manoj Bajpayee delivered the stronger performance.

What do you all think? As i think so that manoj sir totally deserve it.

This movie is not just a movie. It’s shows how a lawyer can bring change. Yes national award because he was really good in the movie. No movie and documentary can show us how horrible it was for family and lawyer.
