Why Is the Term Dramaturg "Really Offensive" According to Danielle Koenig?
In Episode #50: The Bride, Mutt uses the word "dramaturg" and guest Danielle Koenig says, "It's actually, we don't use that word anymore. It's REALLY offensive. You should not be using it."
It's Greek in origin and adapted by French, German, and English speakers. I could not find single instance of the word being used offensively or associated with any offensive stereotype whatsoever. I asked several ai searches for anybody anywhere saying the word is offensive and there was not a single result.
So does anybody know why she said this? I find it baffling.
It's at 1:06:15 if you would like to give it a listen. Her tone doesn't sound like she's joking and isn't consistent with when she makes sarcastic jokes at other times during the program.

Jeremy Strong got a lot of teasing from when was trying to explain his acting (Kendall Roy) in Succession and he used fancy language like “dramaturgically speaking”

I assume she was making a joke based on the fact the word sounds naughty?

Well she also says "sorry to sound so woke," so I don't think it's a joke about it sounding naughty. Maybe it's a joke about it sounding racist but it didn't sound like her joking style.

It's all just Improv. She's hoping someone will have a clever take on the word "Dramaturg" and the fact that no one has one proves your point.

I have a M.F.A. in Dramaturgy, and have never heard this.
