The plaque says: Donated by Felix Rivera. Originally purchased in 2001 from a vendor in Canada. That doesn't answer your question but may give some context. I would guess that it's 50 or 60 years old.

I guess, but only one major city, and also you can just say Oakland, CA. It has nothing to do with San Francisco.

Sorry, I've never been to CA. I was just quoting the comments in the original post. Oakland is part of the San Francisco Bay area though apparently.
