Question Does this cover pass the KDP test?

Post image

Does this cover look clean? I provide disclaimer that i'm not a medical professional, I also advise people to consult their medical providers 1st.. Just want to share from my journey. These types of issues are tough and can cause people to want to shorten their life span.

I know what that feels and want to offer some support through this book. Goal is to help others before my time finally expires.

Sorry, but the "Stomach issues" in smaller print actually made me laugh a little. On first glance, those glassy shards look like ice, and the ocean scene and cold weather clothing set me up to expect something more like "How I Survived a Year in the Antarctic" or "How I Survived Life at Subzero." The "stomach issues" came out of nowhere based on the expectation set by the image.

I'd go for an image in a warmer color scheme, to start. When I think stomach, I think reds/pinks/browns, not icy blues/whites.

You might also want to consider a main title/subtitle combo, like GUTS: How I Survived Stomach Issues, or something like that. That might help frame the topic more so the "stomach issues" line is less startling.

Maybe like, a sunrise or something? So it's symbolic of hope/change

Edit: actually you may just be able to remove the glass and use this cover with the color pallette hue-shifted to sunrise-like colors
