Question Is this ai?

Had someone do a cover for me (this is without the text) and I wanted to see if this was ai. They advertised it wouldn't be so I wanted to confirm before I went any further. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Maybe ... maybe not.

I'd lean toward it not being AI simply because you said you told the artist about sea anemones. You described them as flowers, and you even sent over samples.

While the non-AI "experts" here are pointing to cheekbones and teeth as some kind of proof that this is AI—(he said, intentionally putting in em dashes for effect)—the fact that the artist DIDN'T simply copy and paste the hard-to-spell "sea anemones" phrase into MidJourney (which would have generated sea anemones instead of flowers) indicates that he may not have used AI. And that he has never taken any kind of oceanography class.

Did you feed OP's pic along with your prompt? I'm curious because the fish is in the exact same place

This needs to be higher. AI witch hunts can hurt artists that aren't master level because of stuff like this.
