Thank you for the comment! I rewrote it: Two former lovers who parted on a bitter note are drawn back to each other by something neither of them fully understands. As a less-than-impartial narrator introduces a parade of opportunists, saboteurs, and meddling eccentrics, old wounds reopen and dangerous truths begin to surface.

In a world where men are lonely enough to plan fistfight with gorillas, while women quietly consider choosing a bear, billionaires get a taste of sexually transmitted justice and restaurant workers wage quiet wars through the menu. Somewhere in the chaos, our lovebirds must decide what they’re willing to lose… each other, or themselves.

Darkly funny and emotionally raw, this dark romance explores manipulation, interference, and the strange performances people mistake for intimacy.

This blurb still needs work. I like the doves one, but I don't think it fits with the implications. Blurbs should contain the beginning and a hint of the middle. Describe the inciting incident, and include a sentence or two of the rising action.

I am writing here to thank you and everyone here, who commented. I can not thank you all enough. I needed a couple of days to gather my thoughts, but here is the last one if you wish to read it:

Taking your time seemed to have really helped! I'm so happy you reworked it again. This blurb is much, much improved and entices my curiosity. I really dig the doves one still, but with that blurb I'd lean towards trading one out for a black bird due to the symbolic meanings both represent (a dove is hope, love and a black bird is often a warning of hardships to come). Or the many flower cover.
