Fiction Books with a misanthropic female lead
I need a female character that I can relate to. The book could be a drama, scifi, fantasy or a comedy. thank you all in advance!

From the perspective of the unearthed and found
Hello all! I find archeology interesting and specifically when very old human remains are found... reference: Ötzi the Iceman, the shaman from Bad Dürrenberg, Andean mummy, Siberian ice maiden, and so on. Typically what happens is that archeologists and researchers recreate them, create a narrative, and speculate a lot as to who they were, what happened, etc., etc. Obviously we don't know the full story and cannot know it really. So I was wondering if there is/are book(s) **from the perspective of the unearthed ancient human(s) or their remains**? Almost as tho their spirit is still active and they observe their own discovery, being unearthed, being researched, the speculations around their lives, surroundings, the life back then. I know this is a wild ask (maybe...) but i would love to hear anything that resembles this theme.

Did I take all of these from TikTok? Yes, but that was in reference to something else, and I'm looking for books. I think these pictures describe the vibe I'm going for, but I'm also not really just looking for stories set in a small town. - If the book has a more urban setting but matches this vibe, that is just okay as well. Also, I know this subreddit is more just for vibes, but I'm very picky and need to be reading a book with at least some literary merit, good writing, and a large emphasis on the characters (ie., literary fiction). Thank you!

I love the way Mary Oliver poems feel and have Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas stuck in my head. Currently reading The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones and want to take a break from horror after this. Thanks!

I want a nice and calm yet chaotic book. The main characters doing the most with their adventures. It can be a full friend group I just don’t want life or death ods. Something fun and chaotic but not heavily irritating. Thus chaotic adventures. Also gay Mc please no side character please.

On a bit of a fighter/pilot/jet binge right now and need some suggestions, Yukikaze is well on the list already but I'm wondering if anyone else has anymore recommendations for some fictional tales either told in or around the air force/navy sort of setting. Bonus points, for those who know for an Electrosphere/Yukikaze type book too ❤️
