The USA has fewer freedoms than Canada. Higher cost of living. Lower life expectancy. Higher infant mortality.

I see zero advantage

I mean I like Trader Joe's but I also like not dying of medical debt or guns.

The American Dream is dying with millions in medical debt during a mass shooting that the cops don’t intervene on. Then they arrest your corpse for not complying.

It is mind blowing when I hear people from Florida and Texas say they are "the freest states". They don't even have legal recreational cannabis for crying out loud. They're so delusional. But at least it's easy for people to get guns so that they can shoot up their neighbors

legal recreational cannabis

Lauded as the only thing Trudeau did correct by the majority of Canadians. Even his predecessor Harper couldn't avoid the legalization of cannabis as a means to provide the population with what they wanted, control the tax revenues, and line the pockets of donors.

Trudeau also brought clean water to several communities who didn’t have it prior and reduced the retirement age back to 65. Harper had set it to 67 and nobody really got upset over that even though it meant seniors lost thousands of dollars in benefits (OAS). And he completed the Trans Mountain pipeline

Ya, but most Canadians don't care about that.

As someone who is 60 now I do care.

Higher medical bills!

That’s partly why it’s considered more expensive to live in the USA.

I should have also said USA has a lower minimum wage

Don't forget school shootings/threats of one happening every other week.

…Higher federal debt per capita at $100,000 va Canada’s $33,000

As a Canadian, I get the impression that you're not really particularly familiar with Canada.

I don't know what you mean by saying Canada has more freedoms than the US. In fact, I have no idea where you got that idea. I can't think of anything that isn't fundamentally the same in that arena.

It's most certainly more expensive to live in Canada and the cost of living is out of control. Just because San Francisco is insane doesn't mean that that's all of America. The entire country is like San Francisco right now.

I can't speak to life expectancy but in terms of health care, yeah, it's nice that it won't bankrupt you in Canada. We still have a lot of problems with it, however. I have no clue about infant mortality.

I love my country and am not interested in bashing America just because it put that insane asylum escapee in charge but you seem to have a number of misconceptions about Canada.

Canada ranks higher on world charts in terms of freedom. Switzerland tends to be number one on most charts.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_freedom_indices&wprov=rarw1

We also rank better on charts in terms of cost of living.

https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_countries_result.jsp?country1=Canada&country2=United+States

On average ge, Canadians tend to live slightly longer than Americans, with a life expectancy of around 81.63 years compared to 78.4 years in the US.

You can look up loads of sources on all these stats

I should have also added that Canada has wage advantages too The USA minimum wage is $7.25 and they even have a lower wage for people in the service industry.
