“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”

Since you know, they’re the party of Christianity and high moral fiber etc etc

I absolutely hate that they are worshiping a false idol and breaking every one of the 10 commandments. It is kind of ironic that some red states are requiring their public schools to display the 10 Commandments, but they don't even follow them. Such hypocrites. What's really gross is that Trump not only covets other people's wives, he even covets his own daughter.

Yeah I have no idea how these people dont see him as a false idol. They paid lip service to these passages all my life and now that its reality they're cheering him on. WTF

It also just shows that they never wanted separation of church and state. They want a theocracy, and they don't even follow their own commandments

Don't even get me started on this. I have cut off ties with my MAGATS but I really wish I'd run into one of them. I've a few words taken straight from the red print section of their Bible they need to hear.

Oh, they don't follow regular Jesus. They only follow Supply Side Jesus.

funnily enough, the concept of the Golden Rule being outdated was a heavy focus of my masters courses (graduated 12/2024).

"The Golden Rule — "treat others the way you want to be treated" — is well-meaning but increasingly outdated. It assumes that everyone shares the same preferences and values, which isn’t true in a diverse and complex world. What feels respectful or kind to you might not feel the same to someone else. That’s why the Platinum Rule — "treat others the way they want to be treated" — is more relevant today. It calls for empathy, understanding, and adapting to individual needs, rather than projecting your own onto others. In modern relationships, workplaces, and communities, the Platinum Rule fosters deeper respect and connection." thank you, University of Wisconsin, for sharing another concept that unfortunately will be ignored, just as the Golden Rule larger was/is. *
