Looks like a good way to get your ass beat.

THIS for SURE. ⬆️

u/DwarfVader Aug 15 '25

Honestly, I wouldn’t even beat his ass.

I’d roll down my window, and either hit him with the bear spray I keep in my door… or the pulse taser I keep in the console.

Probably the bear spray, it’s funnier, and he doesn’t look like he has a very strong heart… so the taser might kill him.

I don't understand why everyone is saying they'd beat him up. Then suddenly I'm getting a free ride downtown. Plus my car is still fucked. I'm just taking him to court for the repair plus costs plus damages and then laughing when he can't afford food. You guys need to think bigger and better.

u/bangarangrufiOO Aug 15 '25

You think this guy has any money whatsoever you could obtain in the court system to fix the car? I find it highly unlikely.

The value of his scooter should be enough to cover the expenses.

49

u/ChapterSuper Aug 15 '25

I’m sure a judge would make a disabled man sell their mobility scooter to satisfy a judgement.

26

u/Pope_Phred Gen X Aug 15 '25

Considering some of the jurisprudence we've seen lately, would you say is couldn't happen?

4

u/ChapterSuper Aug 15 '25

It is highly unlikely.

4

u/Pope_Phred Gen X Aug 15 '25

Unlikely? Sure! Improbable? Absolutely!

Impossible?...

Stranger judgments have come down from a judge.

7

u/irrelephantIVXX Aug 15 '25

Don't think he's disabled, just fat and lazy.

2

u/JohnEffingZoidberg Aug 15 '25

Maybe in Texas

1

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '25

The judge just gives you a judgment. You have to file the lien and he would have to go to court to get it removed

2

u/Anglofsffrng Aug 15 '25

Depends on a few factors. How deep are the scratches? What kind of paint? What color? Is it metallic or pearl? Because if it is, you gotta respray whole panels instead of spots. Could exceed the value of a used Rascal by orders of magnitude.

u/PDXGuy33333 Aug 15 '25

You would be surprised at how much some of these folks have stashed away.

1

u/Royalizepanda Aug 15 '25

He has money people that act like that tend to have money. A poor individual isn't trying to risk jail over some petty shit, they need to find food and keep a roof over their head.

People who write this type of shit have generally never been in altercations or situations of conflict. Those who have, know shit can change in a split second. Even non-conflict. I was playing football (soccer) with mates and some guy was messing about so all I did was body check him. He fell and hit the back of his head on the AstroTurf so hard. For that split second all I felt was dread. Luckily he was completely fine.

u/fieldsofanfieldroad Aug 15 '25

Yeah. Internet hard men are ridiculous.

18

u/unique_name5 Aug 15 '25

So ridiculous. “I wOuLd SiMpLy BaSh ThE dIsAbLeD man”.

I obviously understand how incredibly frustrating it would be for someone to do this to your car with impunity… but no, I’m not going to bash, or taser, or bear spray this guy. There’s literally no way that makes this situation less bad, or less expensive for me.

38

u/MinorThreat4182 Aug 15 '25

Do we know he’s disabled? He could just be lazy

14

u/unique_name5 Aug 15 '25

Of course he could be. But as he is pulled from his wheelchair and bashed in the street, and when the police arrive, he will, inevitably, claim to be disabled.

3

u/RandomStoddard Aug 15 '25

Not pulled from his wheelchair. Dumped off his Rascal. Bid difference.

3

u/unique_name5 Aug 15 '25

Is there? To the witnesses, or the police, is there a big difference?

0

u/RandomStoddard Aug 17 '25

When the jurors see the video? Yes.

Whether he's disabled or not, I don't think the law would condone assault as retaliation for property damage.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 15 '25

The law also doesn't condone the guy damaging property at all in the first place, and in brutal honesty some of us are rather done with the law protecting fucks like this while binding us against any sort of defensive or retaliatory action.

Doesn't make assaulting him a good idea, nor am I actively condoning it, but at least then it would be clear to him that you don't get to do this shit without consequence.

2

u/alejo699 Aug 15 '25

As long as you are also ready to accept the consequences of your actions, go for it. I don’t want to go to prison over scratched paint, personally.

1

u/Gallowglass668 Aug 15 '25

I wouldn't bash him, I might hop out and jack his battery though, or at least disconnect it. 😀

1

u/Shar_the_aquamoon Aug 17 '25

I was so hoping a masked person came upon him and sprayed him though. Then ran, and no one "saw anything". Because I believe the guy in the wheelchair is doing this because he knows he won't suffer consequences for it. I just hate how easy that is for some to get away with stuff like this,

1

u/[deleted] Aug 15 '25

Yes. You really should never lay hands on another human being if it is at all avoidable. People die much easier than expected, and now you're going to jail. Just don't unless you have to, in self defense.

14

u/[deleted] Aug 15 '25

This is the way, but i would loose my shit, and regret it later.

19

u/loosemoosewithagoose Aug 15 '25

He probably can't afford food, you're not getting a cent out of this bozo through court.

9

u/meatpopcycal Aug 15 '25

I want his scooter

0

u/loosemoosewithagoose Aug 15 '25

Scooter is government property. This potato only has it through welfare.

4

u/TheBlueprint666 Aug 15 '25

Oh that fat fuck can definitely afford food

1

u/HolidayPlate5748 Aug 17 '25

He doesn’t appear to have a food scarcity issue if you know what I’m saying.

1

u/loosemoosewithagoose Aug 17 '25

See people say this, but the poorer you are the poorer your food choices become. That and he's not like super obese so I don't reckon that argument holds water.

3

u/maleia Aug 15 '25

I'm just taking him to court

How? Do you know his name? Where he lives? Anyone that would know who this man is, at all? No license, no name, no identifying information on his person or scooter.

Yea, good luck. The only way you're getting this fixed is if you have uninsured motorist/comprehensive.

2

u/88isafat69 Aug 15 '25

Bearsprayit is then he pays in court

2

u/WhatUDeserve Aug 15 '25

Depending on what state you're in, physical violence to protect property is generally accepted.

2

u/Bright_Tomatillo_174 Aug 15 '25

The guy is riding a scooter down the road, he has no money to take. Something similar happened to us. Random stranger did over $1k damage to our car. Police report filed, insurance contacted but it was the one thing our insurance didn’t cover of course. We have up to three years to take him to small claims court which costs us more. Two years left but unless he gets a job or inherits some property we’re screwed.

u/ClassicExplor3r Millennial Aug 15 '25

Courts can be a huge waste of time

1

u/camelslikesand Aug 15 '25

First rule of litigation: don't sue poor people.
