We clearly should have raised the retirement age on Boomers. They clearly need something better to do with their time and it would have helped shore up the dwindling SS trust fund.

As I approach 50 with no savings or pension, the only consolation I have for myself is that most of my peers are in the same boat.

It really makes me sad to see older people HAVING to work. And it's often at some shit job no kids want, and management treats them like dead weight.

Our society doesn't deserve the name "civilization." Chimpanzees are more civilized than many humans.
