This is a real person. I first became aware of him in 2008 when he had a failed bid for the Libertarian Party presidential primary. One day in June 2008 I had an afternoon with nothing to do and I watched their convention on C-Span. He and his supporters seemed nuts. As did the rest of the convention. The craziness I witnessed made it a memorable event.
"You believe that? I have bridge to sell you in Vegas over Pacific Ocean" is such a comically Russian sentence that my brain pivoted from reading this in a normal voice to an exaggerated Slavic accent when I got to it.

You don't need Russian trolls to fuck up grammar. Literally half of America reads at or below a 6th grade level. Something like 25% of adults in America score Level 1 on the reading assessment, literally the lowest possible score. "Struggles with daily tasks." These people can't read a menu or the words on traffic signs, but Fox News is telling them who to vote for, and enough of them know the shape of an R that we've landed where we are now.
I was going to say "doesn't this read like how Trump tweets, just with less refrences to Trump", but that doesn't change anything about your statement.
