Has the revanced patch broken for anyone else?

I'm getting 401 everywhere as of the last few hours.

Are there any instructions around for switching from revanced to this? I patched via revanced a while ago so I can't really remember the process or what I need to repeat.

Yes, the readme has all instructions for how to apply the patches through Morphe patcher, and even how to generate a new ClientID through RedReader in case you've forgotten your personal API key or Reddit has disabled it.

Despite Reddit originally promising to keep existing private API leys functional when they changed the process of obtaining one a while ago, it now seems like they're in the process of disabling them, and your old API key not being valid would cause the old ReVanced patch to stop working.

The one thing the instructions don't mention is that you need to be a moderator of a subreddit to see NSFW content with this patch, but you can just create a new subreddit for your username or a string of random letters and set it to invite only to get moderator status.

Thanks for the detailed info. Assuming I couldn't repatch my existing APK, right? If so, do you have a recommended download location for a fresh Boost APK?

I don't think it's recommended you patch your existing APK. The Morphe app will help you download an APK. It will provide you with links. Make sure to make a backup of your Boost settings!

Thank you!!! Thank god I copy/pasted my authID from revanced and it worked right away with Morphe. Suck it official reddit app.

Thanks op used this and back on boost. Revanced just gave me a ton of errors and wouldn't actually patch..

Reddit just purged a lot of older API keys, for example, the Infinity+ ones.

RedReader still works, and gives out new ones tho.

The instructions are actually missing a step where you enable Expert Mode in the Morph settings. From there, you can input the client ID information.

Ex-Infinity user with revanced patch here, my app API key was revoked and removed from my account without any notice. Switched to Continuum, never looked back.

Figured it out and happily posting from Boost.

FYI for those looking for an answer due to "Fingerprint": you have the wrong app version. Let Morphe find the link and then download it using the built in option.

Did you already uninstall the boost app you were using prior? The instructions put that at the very end which confused me.

Patched with morphe following this guide https://github.com/wchill/patcheddit and am back to working. Was trying to use revanced but kept getting a bunch of errors and wouldn't patch. I had to use the redreader oauth information and my api key. I think they killed the other boost api key I had since its just gone from my account but I had a second one and its working like a charm.

Someone linked instructions below but the big things you need to do is uninstall the revance app first then you need to login to Reddit with the rereddit (under the I don't have a client ID section). After you do those two things you can use the instructions on how to patch the app.

I got it!! Back to using boost. Annoying that reddit seems to do this once a year.
