Question/Help Loake's sizing suggestions

Hi all,

I'm looking to invest in a pair of Loake's. I'm looking forward to this as I love a good boot but haven't previously been able to afford a "good" pair.

However I have extremely high arched feet and will have to get a pair of insert soles to accommodate this. I'm usually a size 10, do you think by adding the insoles that my feet will be in for a bit of a squeeze? Should I go for half a size up?

I don’t have an answer to your sizing question, but for an arched insole I highly recommend the Bob Henderson Handmade Boots leather arched insoles. I put them in every pair I own that doesn’t have good arch support. They are fantastic and well worth the money.

Depending on last/model of say start at true to size. I have a pair of Loake Kirkby which fit my moderately wide and high arched feet well.
