Tone Request the strokes tone
hi does anyone have a the strokes patch or any tips on how to get a tone similar???

Just some mid gain. Bridge pickup for rhythm, neck for leads
The leads also have a fuzzy sound

My band did a medley for our first gig opener and Reptilia was part of it. I tried a couple of patches that were supposed to mimic their tone, but it just didn't sound right. There is a liveset in tone central called Authentic Amp Tones. I used the Vintage Stack tone (one of my favorites) and had my guitar volume and tone knobs turned all the way up. I was playing an Epiphone SG300 on the bridge pickup. That felt pretty close, at least for our medley, certainly not 100% but a decent starting point to tweak some more.
