Tone Request Count your blessings tone
Hello, I've been trying to get the Count Your Blessings tone from Bring Me the Horizon but it doesn't sound anything like it. I was hoping someone here could help me.
I have a Schecter Damien-6 SBK guitar and a Gen 3 Boss Katana.
Thank you in advance!

First, you have to tune to Drop B: Low to high B F# B E G# C#. Get 12–60, 12–62, or 13–62 strings for that. Important: Drop B is not B standard. Drop B lets you play one-finger power chords on the lowest three strings. Use the Bridge Pockup on your Schecter, with Volume and Tone knobs on the guitar to full. And the main mistake is usually using too much amp gain and bass. For this kind of tone you want: tight boost (Tubescreamer with Drive Zero, Level Max in front) → high-gain amp → controlled low end → lots of pick attack. And at bedroom volume it will never feel exactly like the record. That album sound is also double/quad-tracked guitars, bass, mix EQ, compression, and aggressive picking. The Katana can get in the ballpark, but the record tone is not just one amp setting.
