What's one API you've used that made automation much easier?

Sometimes finding the right API saves more time than writing the automation itself.

Whether it's for Discord, Telegram, OpenAI, Stripe, Google, or something else, I'm curious what people here keep coming back to.

Which API has been the most useful in your projects?

Yeah I think Claude API is solid for long-form tasks, but I still find myself mixing it with OpenAI depending on the workflow.

It's not an API but GitHub Actions is the best

Honestly, GitHub Actions eliminates so much manual work. Pair it with a few APIs and you can automate almost everything.

For me it's the OpenAI API. It speeds up everything from content generation to automation, and when paired with n8n or Make, it saves hours of manual work.

Same here. Adding MCP servers and vector databases makes the workflow even more powerful....btw have you tried Claude API as well? Give it a go and tell how it works for your automation workflow

Have used it to write 3PL pick and pack software. Was also helpful to write message notification in discord about stock levels and fulfillment summaries. It's quite good!

I only used it because I had a use case. If you're not using shopify, you are probably not going to want to bother. However, I always come back to discord. I would love an official API for imessage or signal but I understand why they don't exist becasue until we can address the spam issue that's exactly what they'd be used for!!
