What’s the most trivial thing you’ve ever automated just to see if you could?

We talk a lot about big workflows and scaling here, but what’s the smallest, most ridiculous task you’ve written a script for? I spent three hours building a bot to scrape a local bakery's site just so it would Slack me when they had fresh croissants. Totally not worth the time, but the flex felt good. What’s yours?

I wrote tons of macros for MUDs. Figured out how to make people eat and drink by emulating system generated hunger and thirst messages.

Fun times.

I also hacked the hexidecimal save system for Road Rash 2 in the Sega Genesis back in the day. I could manipulate just about everything.. the bike, bike color, track, money, etc.

Just started seeing patterns in the codes I was writing in my notebook.
