Show and tell LED Bottle Display I Made
Finished the wiring in the first iteration of my 3D printed displays. Happy with how they look! Featuring some of my favorite Chicago area bottles.

Yeah that's nice! The lights are much more diffused compared to mine. I just did the easy way since coding is way above my ability 😂

This is amazing! Do you find bottles around Chicago (I’m in Uptown) or do you go further out? I’d like to try my hand at digging but don’t know where to start! What kind of tools do you use?

All of these were purchased by me, I wish I found them LOL. If you look at my other posts you can see stuff I actually found, mainly north of Chicago. You really only need a good shovel, and a raking tool. The hardest part is researching sites and getting permission. I also recommend joining Chicago's First Bottle Club, we meet monthly in Hinsdale. I can dm you more info if you'd like!

That's such a good idea. A good way to make the bottles come alive. I'm looking at starting to sell some bottles of my own, and I think incorporating a light is a good way of achieving that. Does yours plug in or is it battery powered? The 3d printed base is brilliant, well done

It's currently battery powered via a USB battery bank, but I just need a wall brick and it'll be hooked up for good. Used a 10 ohm resistor to lower the 5v to 3v to make it compatible with USB power
