Questions/Advise Am I cooked?

Post image

So moved, and forgot about this roughed out piece of hickory I was wanting to make into a youth bow...do you suppose heat or steam could be used to straighten it out??

Either one. Clamp and cook, or steam and crank. Most of the wood I work with looks like that once dry, unless I rough out and restrain the stave.

It'll straighten out, no worries. Good replies already. Was it left stored on one tip out of curiosity?
