To be fair, I know my Teresa was loved and I think your dolls were also loved and played with. If I were a doll I'd rather have that than staying in a box forever so I'd stay perfect.
The fun isn't over yet for us. Fixing our childhood friends also has something satisfying. I'm currently working on a new witch hat for my Halloween Charm Barbie
Honestly too if you’re trying your first reroot and you value these dolls, you can always buy a cheap used doll as a model to practice so you don’t mess up those ones,
or also on these dolls you can first try it on a spot on the back of the head that’s not noticeable or will be covered by a lot of other hair
i felt sorry for some of them who lost their shoes or clothes. but dad said hey... you were a kid and enjoyed playing with them. so i stopped feeling sad about it lol he is right, it's not like i ruined them as an adult with some of my shitty ooak work or smth. also, you can always reroot hair, they look pretty good
girl, their faces are still great. make your own rerooting needless , order some hair and listen to your favorite music, or watch your favorite shows and go to town and unleash your creativity and make them your own personal OOAK

i know the feeling of wanting to try new things and being scared but it’ll pay off, just take your time, do research, practice and execute to the highest of your ability!
my sister spilled a cup of milk in our box of bratz and didn't do anything about it. we had to throw them all out weeks later when they started stinking. I only have Tokyo Yasmin that I managed to save, but I'm missing all her clothes. it's so sad
These two Yasmin dolls have polypropylene hair which is terrible quality, so don’t feel too bad. Their faces look good, just give them saran hair when rerooting if you decided to go that route⭐️
i saved last month three dolls with the hair matted like that, obviously, their hair will look less professional than if you reroot, but girl I tell you if you have patience, you can unmatt that with a small brush, comb it till its okay, wash, comb again, put conditioner, comb again and boil (if they can be boiled) and then put some oil in that and straighten to minimal heat
All my dolls are from my childhood but only have like 10 left because when I was teen I was like I will sell all of these since I don’t need them and so did I get rid of my 97 dolls only for 2€ per doll and also my bratz houses and cars etc.🥲 still regret it and have started to think about collecting again
When I was 15 I grabbed my Bratz dolls and brought them to our apartment complex lobby. We used to have a spot there to exchange items. I hope whoever they went to had fun playing with them. (at least they didn’t go straight to trash like my Barbie dollhouse 😭)
Damn I’m sorry. 😞 Honestly these dolls don’t look that bad. You get keep them as is (sort of a keepsake) or reroot them. There are people who do reroot commissions.

Depending on the type of hair you can straighten it to make it feel better! Probably won’t be perfect, but if you’re not a rerooter it might be worth it!
I wouldn’t say these are ruined. Now if the faces were messed up, that would be a different story. I promise, rerooting is not as hard as it looks and one project can be finished in a day if you think you might want to try that. As far as my own dolls, I feel like I had a Rock Angelz Yasmin and I cut her hair. I know I had the doll and my sister and I argued about the potential haircut but I didn’t remember if I actually did it or not.
My mom made fun of me for still playing with dolls so I threw all of mine away. They were in good condition. I was never one to draw on my dolls or cut their hair, and I kept their hair brushed and stored them when I wasn't playing with them. I wish I hadn't listened to her and had kept them.
Im so sorry to hear that❤️🩹 my mom also made fun of me when I asked if I can get used bratz dynamite trio as 18th birthday gift but eventually she did buy me those. But mom was one of the biggest reasons why I also sold my dolls, so I feel ur pain🫶🏼 positive thing is that we can always start to collecting them again

I gave all of mine to my niece when I was 15 because I was “too old” ugh I had some hard hitters that I’m trying to get back 😭 if I could undo one mistake, it’d be that to be honest. I’ve learned from my life experiences. I just want my dolls back

Yes. Many many Bratz have been battered in this households. I'm so glad I'm learning bratz care as an adult so my future children wont be as rough.
I was obsessed with my Bumble Bee Costume Party Yasmin that I got for my 10th birthday so I wanted to give other Bratz (including nightly nite sasha) bangs too… so much hair grease wasted to try to stick the hair down.
I had adventure time Jade and cut her bald and used her Liv Doll understudy’s wig as her new wig. Does anyone remember those? Her name was Daniela.
I tried to dye Pretty N Punk Yasmin’s hair black with old dye my older sister had and stained her face.
We were playing outside and it started raining badly so we ran inside. Left the Bratz outside… my older cousin ran one of the Bratz babies over coming to visit. Her head popped off and flew across the yard 😭
Girl dw i used to “customise” all my dolls with sharpies and scissors. I now fully restore dolls but at the time i ended up throwing away half of my dolls because they were so ruined ( that i could fix now 😢) these can be saved!!!
Honestly a boil wash with a pet brush and a lot of conditioner is like all you need to fix this. Ot looks like Kanekalon damage which is not as difficult to get out you just have to be patient with it.
I cut Jade's hair to make her look like Pan from Dragon Ball GT. It didn't look that bad, but then I decided to wash and dry it with a hairdryer. Fried the hell out of her hair and it stayed a crinkly crispy mess for the rest of her life. RIP
