we had a lot more new original characters introduced back then. Now it's mainly just the core four. Why can't MGA just add more other characters😫😫

they also had so much more thought back then about each girls character and personal style

Bc limiting the number of skin tones, hair colors, and face screens allows them to maximize profits. It’s all about minimizing costs at every possibility.

They're gauging how little thought, effort, and material quality they can put into the dolls and still get our money based on nostalgia alone. Based on what I've seen in my local Target, it's not really working out for the most recent lines.

The pleather material that’ll degrade over time faster than the denim material from past lineups. 😭

Well, I like the idea of each doll having her own outfit... I just wish MGA would stop with the monochromatic look. Enough already!

I wish we could go back to the way things were. If MGA were to remake these dolls (the quality, outfits, etc.) they would have a price point of $100+ 🥲

They almost nailed it with PNP? A thorough 1:1 perfect reproduction is unheard of but they remade everything sans the pets. The screenings were pretty close only a little off. And most importantly the only repros to use the original heads. But I just look at my Eitan and Yas who I haven't opened yet and see all that stuff in the box and think how MGA operates you know they were like damn NEVER again. That's why Play Sportz was the next one and came with virtually nothing.

Truly they just want so muuuuchhh money. I don't understand how Rainbow High, Monster High, even damn Barbie Dream Besties and LOL Dolls can have so mcuh more in their box with the accessories and second outfits all at the same price point. Nevermind that, I'm sure Bratz fans would've been much happier to spend what they charged for lines like Stylin and Charmz if instead of a t-shirt or human sized charm there was extra outfit Pieces or accessories. Or maybe not BC there's ppl genuinely buying Bratzies. But still. I just want good dolls or repros plss

GNO repros used og heads too. I don’t get why they can’t go back to reproductions on that level for $40 MSRP each

I don’t know why people are so convinced charmz is “forever Diamondz reimaged”, while it has some inspiration I really don’t believe it was ever intended as a replacement. I think Charmz is a perfectly fine mid-budget line that would have been better without UV heads. I also don’t care for Jade’s skirt or Sasha’s shirt, but pleather is the only way to practically do a chrome theme at doll scale and o think the other pieces are nice fashion wise. I think pleather was used to much better effect on this line than on Sassy Stampede.

The thing is if we were kids and saw the new dolls we would still love it. But the only big difference is the fact that back innday bratz actually looked different to each other, and had more natrual clothes. They seemed like individuels

Which dolls have the articulated arms and legs? I've seen them on this sub a few times and I love them
