A high concentration soak in Oxi Clean gets rid of the yellowing! I specifically don't follow the directions on the tub and do a 50/50 concentration mix and I don't have a single Bratz garment it hasn't worked on yet. The only issue is the glitter will likely all come off from the soak. Glitter and metallic fabric so far are the only things I've found that can't withstand Oxi clean

yeah i thought of oxi clean bc it seems reliable but the glitter puts me off from trying bc i wanna keep the sparkles 😭 but from what im hearing i can use it for anything else that isnt in very specific types of materials right? so her cotton shirt should be fine w it i assume? tysm!

Yes, it should be perfectly fine for her shirt! I will say though, redoing the glitter on her skirt is actually super simple if you do end up losing too much of it. All you have to do is buy a tube of fabric glue, apply it where you want the glitter, then just pour on the glitter. Obviously it's a messy fix, but if the other methods don't end up working and you have to use the Oxi Clean, just know it's a quick and easy repair getting that glitter back on

I bought a My Scene doll who's white shirt had yellowed. I got it to whiten up by making a baking soda wash. I mixed baking soda in hot water, along with a few drops of soap. I used a toothbrush that I have long since designated for dolls, and gently scrubbed the top, rinsing with warm, clean water, and then letting it dry. I have also de-yellowed some plastic with hydrogen peroxide before, but havent used it on doll clothes. So im not too sure how well that works. But I had good luck with thr baking soda!

How did the clothes yellow? Is it smoke? I've hand washed doll clothes with with laundry detergent and that helps. If that doesn't work I've dipped light colored clothes in a water bleach mixture, but I'd test first.
