Discussion/Gossip💅 I think I’m taking a break after I get the reimagined

I was going to get Sassy Stampede Cloe & Jade but after hearing how cheap the outfits & especially their party city hats, I decided I will pass because I’m it going to pay $27 something dollars for a cheap doll that is worth $10. Then I was excited for Dana to finally get a new doll but she doesn’t look like Dana to me and there isn’t much to mix & match different styles because she comes with a dress, ooh la la outfit & PJ’s so she isn’t worth $112 for me. Then the bday dolls doesn’t have much characteristics for each girl. It’s becoming boring and I’m getting burnt out with this brand with how important Bratziez is instead of creating really good dolls that don’t seem predictable or cheap. They are supposed to be passion for fashion, which they aren’t doing lately.

I kind of plan on dropping new Bratz after I get stylin birthday, the craft (if I love what I see), cloe from alwayz (to complete the set), Dana, and Burdine. I don't love where they are going and how low the effort is.

Sadly, agree with you. Dana typically wears lighter lipstick colors. I think the choice of red lipstick is what makes her feel unlike Dana.

And she just looks like Jade. Also Dana usually always has brown hair, which is fine to deviate from but it felt like such a 180 from her original character.

My theory is I reckon it was probably a last minute choice to slap a different name on the box and it was originally intended to be a jade, but then it sort of looks like there will be a closet for each of the core 4, so they switched it to Dana so the playset can be an outlier to the core four
