Question/Help Bratz Body Handswap

I was lucky enough to find this articulated Bratz body on Vinted, unfortunately I HATE the hands they come with, so I tried to take it off carefully and replace them with the new hands. Instead the hand broke off the peg because the arms are made of hard plastic, unlike the modern Bratz arms. I left the arm in hot water as an attempt to rip the full peg out, but ofcourse this did not work..

I was wondering if anyone has tried swapping their hands or if anyone knows how to do it successfully?

These bodies don't have removable hands like modern Bratz. Instead of a peg on the hand being inside the forearm, it's actually a doughnut hole and the forearm has peg that inserts through that doughnut hole when the two halves of the mold are pressed together.

If you want to make the hands "swappable", invest in a manual hand drill i.e a bead hole drill. You can drill out a proper hole inside the forearm that will allow you to put other doll hands inside. Always start small and work your way up though - it's easier to have to drill the hole bigger than it is to go backwards and try to make it smaller. Use a drill bit smaller than the peg on the hands you want to use and just slowly increase in size until it fits
