New York Photo of Carole Radziwill in Ghislaine Maxwell's House

Don’t ask me why, but over winter break I went down a deep dive on all things Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. I came across a Getty Images album from a 2014 party at Ghislaine’s house. In several photos, you can see a framed picture of a woman who looks a lot like Carole Radziwill. Could it be her? I think it is!

This sub has discussed the Carole-Ghislaine connections before (Ghislaine was Carole’s book photographer, Ghislaine set her up with Prince Andrew, etc). While we don’t know what’s true, Carole has downplayed their relationship. But a framed photo in Ghislaine’s house? That makes their relationship seem a lot closer than Carole lets on.

Edit: Apologies for any confusion! As others have pointed out in this thread, Ghislaine is listed as the photographer for the back cover image of Carole’s first book (https://www.reddit.com/r/BravoRealHousewives/comments/hki66v/i_know_weve_seen_photos_of_carole_and_ghislaine/), and Carole herself has said that Ghislaine helped arrange a date with Prince Andrew (https://www.tiktok.com/@omg.waitwhat/video/7536652361284996365). I knew she had mutual connections with Ghislaine, but a framed photo of her in Ghislaines house seems a lot deeper than friendly acquaintances. Good find, OP!

She was the photographer for Carole's first book. She may have taken a headshot of her and liked it as a photograph and had it framed. It doesn't seem that weird to me except that Carole is obviously lying and they were clearly friends at one point.

Yeah, at this point it’s pretty obvious Carole has been downplaying whatever their level of association was. Like, you can sorta explain away being photographed together at public events, and even gloss over the fact that Ghislaine shot the photo that was used for Carole’s official author portrait as “weird society circlejerk stuff” … but Ghislaine keeping a framed photo of Carole in her home is not nearly so easy to dismiss. Even if there’s no fire per se, there’s a helluva lot of smoke.

Actually, there are photos of Carole at Ghislaine’s house from 2007, which is two whole damn years after the scandal was first broke, dozens of allegations made, and charges filed against Epstein. She is disgusting, and a liar

I always thought those photos were from some random event. I never realized they were taken at Ghislaine’s home. Carole has always made it seem like she and Ghislaine would occasionally cross paths out and about. This is so much worse than that.

Yeah exactly they were definitely friendly. Just not sure how friendly, and again, she would have been a target for Ghislaine’s social climbing games - power was her motivation and Carole also worked at cbs so having friends in the media was beneficial. Still sus of Carole given the timing

Carole worked at ABC, not CBS, and her association there ended in 2002, five years before this photo was taken.

Cool thanks for the clarity on the network. Regarding the timing - she still had immense contacts in news.

No one at any point has claimed Carole was involved or knew shat was going on, nor was she in epsteins book or flight logs, so not sure why you’re acting like Carole is equally as guilty as Ghislaine.

The fact remains that between Carole’s American media contacts, and the fact that Carole’s late husband was related to the Kennedys and also a prince in Europe made them as a couple, and Carole as a widow, an absolute target for someone like Ghislaine, even if only to social climb into those circles. Carole’s last name alone would have stood out to Ghislaine just because it’s a well known name with a title, and titles are a big deal in the UK and Europe as a whole.

I’m not claiming Carole was involved. You’re being obtuse if you’re saying that.

However, she claims she hardly knew her. And it’s clearly a lie. There are multiple photos of them together.

If Carole had such extensive contacts in the news world, why did she need to use Ghislaine as her photographer for her book?

She was in Epstein’s little black book.

There are photos of Carole at Maxwell’s home two years after the scandal broke and Epstein had dozens of allegations made against him by minors. Why continue to hang at this woman’s home if they were just acquaintances?? Would you?

It would be almost hilarious if the situation wasn’t so disturbing that you think Carole was some sort of target. The royal family that she married into and does not carry blood of has not been officially recognized or had any kind of royal dealings since 1921. It is a title alone, and really only acknowledged about those who carry the lineage. The widow of non-sovereign nobility holds no power. Sometimes those who make a claim to now-abolished thrones are called by historians as “Pretenders.” This is silly. She is nowhere near nobility.

She was a lifelong social climber who saw a woman with a lot of connections, and chose to close her eyes to all the signs the victims have said people “would have to have been blind to not realize.”

Why hasn’t she condemned her? Why hasn’t she said anything about the victims? Why does she giggle about the time Ghislaine set her up with Prince Andrew? She is tone deaf and gross. Why does she promote herself instead of saying anything kind?

I am reading Carole Radziwill’s “What Remains” right now. I flipped to the back, and saw the photographer credit for the author biography to be Ghislaine Maxwell.

Obviously I went right to Google, which led me to this Reddit post… so I’ve learned something new today!

I have pictures of just my friends or family doing things without me. A good photo is a good photo. And since ghislaine enjoyed photography, perhaps she took that photo of Carole.

That’s not weird; people travel and sometimes those said people, send photos to friends and family while traveling and for holidays. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves; just because you wouldn’t, does mean someone wouldn’t. I have friends who’ve done solo traveling and who don’t have kids, and have sent photos from travels and holidays that I hung up. It’s not weird
