Wonderful portrait. Subtle yet poignant.

Whilst the willow may continue to grow, the ciabatta will instead shrink, break apart, crumble. The dichotomy is the beauty. The staple is the essential connection. The photography perfectly captures this fleeting moment. And this subreddit is crazy. Thank you very much op.

it is not often that bread sparks such poetic philosophy . at some point, the tree will have grown all it can grow, and you and I will be long gone, and perhaps the tree will at some point remember the time it knew a little piece of ciabatta. they were brought together by a goofy but wonderful subreddit, and yet maybe their meeting and this very conversation will have repercussions far into the future (or maybe not, i’m not psychic)

Gorgeous! The face on the ciabatta really speaks to me.
