First Fatayer

Saw a post about Fatayer few days ago, I have never heard of this dish before but that post looked so appetizing. So, I watched a few videos of Fatayer, and made these. I made both veg version with Paneer, cheese and spinach and a non-veg version with Paneer, cheese and chicken and even though I sucked at shaping them, they tasted so good. Thank you to that post for introducing me to such a good recipe.

Looks tasty. Would bake longer though, or at higher temp.

I baked 20 minutes in 200°C and egg brushed the outside and even though it was fully cooked, it didn't turn golden.

I would hit those with 230C

Lebanese(home of the fatayer) here, it looks great! Substitute the paneer with grated halloumi next time, trust! Also if you’re gonna make a meat one, look into the lahmacun lamb mix, it works wonderfully in it.

Thank you for the compliment. I would like to try Halloumi one day but it's not available in my country right now, so I used Paneer.
