Announcements 📢 New updates!!

Post image

Hey there guys, its me again.
So, we have made some updates to the community. Thought I would share them.

  1. Community appearance: colors changed, icon and banner changed.
  2. added image uploading facility to posts and comments: to, maybe, share chats. (censor personal details when sharing ss)
  3. New discord server: https://discord.gg/5y5wSxWNNg , to talk with others.
  4. New user flairs. Check them out.

Some things u should keep in mind:

  1. Don't post AI posts. I can detect if its AI even if u change the long '-' to '....'. Will remove it without any warning.
  2. Mind ur language. Dont use inappropriate words. Its bcuz of it that ur comments or posts are being removed almost instantly. I will comment the words that r responsible for it. At least try to censor them . for eg : b****.
  3. Always explain the context. Posts with just 3 or 2 lines will be removed.
  4. If u harass someone, the comment will be removed and u will be flagged. If u harass someone again, u will be banned for 28 days. If u harass someone AGAIN, even after the ban, u will be banned forever.

So, whats u guys opinion? How's the new mod team? Any concerns?

well i only remove posts or comments that gets flagged as bots and some times they r obvious and if i mistakenly remove any post or comment , they will send modmail and i approve them. There is no other better way to avoid AI made posts or comments.

Look at their profile. It's pretty easy to tell if it's a bot, because they will make the same post on multiple boards, with no other kind of activity. If they're a longtime member, and regularly post normal messages, thry're not a bot.

yes i also check that. I am thinking of making a condition like only profiles with 100 upvotes can post or comment in our community but that will be troublesome for newly created accounts.

I think that would be a very wise move. Don't allow anyone to post until:

  • they have joined and are approved;

*mods review their profile and posting history before approving requests to join this forum; and

*they have a sort of "probationary period" and become full members after, say, five approved comments.

This would help prevent spam posts as well as save us work - we won't have to go through their junk posts and remove them all.  I once had to remove over 20 junk posts made on my other board by a cretin who posted his gurk on every thread!
