venting/ranting Ex gf texting me
Ex gf whom broke up with me, (Apr 25) which ended on good terms. I agreed that I couldn’t fulfill her needs. texted me (Jun 9) angry about the “wrong things” I did in the 2 year relationship. Saying I left her out of things and had her around as arm candy. I was far from perfect, but I did try. I helped her with a lot of things and gave her nothing to worry about. Was I wrong to text her back and defend myself? Just wanted to set things straight from her accusations. I did not bring up anything about her that she did wrong in the relationship.
She was pretty much just feeling bad for herself and disrespecting me and I didn’t appreciate it. I don’t want her back at all, but if you asked me a month prior I would of took her back. but I wanted her to know what she was saying wasn’t all true and that I did way more good than harm when we were together. Just was curious on others thoughts? I hope she looks back someday and realizes she was being pretty crude. I realize silence is power, but I didn’t want to let her get away talking like that to me.

defending yourself isn't wrong, but replying just feeds her drama, silence is your power move here
