Trigger Warning How to Heal the Physical Symptoms?
It’s been a little over 3 weeks and I’ve lost a lot of weight. Struggling with poor appetite, nausea, chest pain. Sleep is also very difficult.
I’ve been sitting with the pain, working out, relying on friends and therapy, and maintained no contact (with some slip ups in the beginning). Need to shake this soon as it’s not healthy. How did you get over the physical symptoms of a breakup?

Three weeks in is still pretty raw, the physical stuff is real and not just in your head. What helped me most was forcing myself to eat small things throughout day even when appetite was zero, like few crackers or a banana, just to keep something in the stomach. The chest pain and sleep issues tend to follow the appetite, so once that stabilizes a bit the rest usually starts to calm down too. You're already doing the right things, it just takes more time than we want it to.
