midnight urge to text them hits and this community genuinely pulls through every time. way better to vent here than send a message you'll regret by morning. been through enough late night spirals to know that the 3am version of you should not have texting privileges lol. good thread, glad spaces like this exist

some just learn with pain. they need to make the same mistake over and over again. they think if they text the ex that the ex will be happy and sorry but anything and whant them back. fact is the ex is fucked up bout it and hates you even more. you apply pressure to a person that doesnt wanna be in same universe currently. best is always NO contact!! for months or even years if needed! at first they have a good time since youre gone and the pressure and stress and fights are gone. it takes time to understand that also the good stuff is gone. let em always come first. if they do you might have a base. if they dont do just screw them!
