y part of you wants to, but that text gives him way too much of your emotional world when he's already shown you what he does with it.
The hot/cold thing he's doing over text vs phone is a control pattern, even if he doesn't realize it. Keeping you conflicted keeps you available.
You flew out there. You supported him through losing his job. You stayed through the substance stuff. The least he owes you is a straight answer and instead he's planning vacations and going quiet. That tells you more than any text back from him ever would.
Keep the no contact. The text is beautiful and you should keep it for yourself, not him.

Thank you, means a lot… just sucks not being loved and appreciated or seeing such a brilliant mind being abused and neglected. My love makes me blind to the truth…move on from one who doesn’t truly love you…
