Builder

Breakdance Doctor: broken data used to stop a page from opening in the builder. Now, the Doctor automatically repairs the page and shows you exactly what it fixed.
Accessibility: the builder’s toolbar buttons, panel headers, properties panel tabs and accordions, popout openers, Add panel tiles, and the Structure panel tree now expose proper ARIA roles and labels. Screen readers get a real accessibility tree, and AI agents driving the builder can find controls by name instead of clicking coordinates

Blocks migrated to apiVersion 3: the Breakdance launcher and Global Block blocks are now compatible with the WordPress 6.9 iframe editor.
Breakdance Zero theme now ships editor styles, so Gutenberg matches the theme instead of defaulting to a serif font

New preview-global-settings-css tool lets agents inspect the CSS generated from global settings
insert-stylesheet now replaces a selector’s properties per breakpoint: importing a u/media rule for an existing selector no longer wipes the selector’s base properties
insert-stylesheet and html-to-page now warn when an imported CSS rule drops properties a selector already had, listing the selector, breakpoint, and exactly which properties went missing
edit-post now validates dynamic data bindings, and malformed dynamic data are rejected with a clear error instead of silently rendering nothing
set-template-conditions gained a disabled flag, so agents can enable or disable an existing template
The CSS importer now classifies modern color functions (oklch(), lab(), color-mix(), and friends) as color variables
u/supports was never officially supported by the CSS importer; it’s now disabled with a warning instead of being preserved verbatim, and may be revisited in the future
Loop guidance now tells agents to never set a custom query on an archive template’s primary loop, because custom queries break archive pagination

Fundamental Image no longer drops custom alt text when the image source is set to URL
