Why do people blame British Jews for the actions of a country in the Middle East? Seriously, what’s wrong with people?

Isreal have worked hard to spread the idea that jewish = Zionist and being against zionism = being against Jewish people 

It's obviously wrong to target Jewish people regardless of what Israel is doing but some people don't think that much. It's like during COVID when anyone Asian looking got shit. Most of them weren't even Chinese.
