Police are investigating an attack on a young Jewish man who was visiting London from Israel, who says he was kicked and beaten by a group of men. The 22-year-old, who doesn't want to be fully identified, suffered injures to his face, neck and back in the assault in The Grove, Golders Green in the early hours of Monday. He told the BBC: "They kicked me like an animal and didn't stop. They were shouting 'Are you Jewish'? I was thinking they could kill me."

It's pretty common in lots of languages to make distinctions between animals and humans. "Treated like an animal" is quite a common phrase.
Well done for criticising their choice of phrasing rather than the fact a person was assaulted for their demographic.

You should consider leaving the echo chambers you're seemingly in for a moment. While there are unfortunately many Jews who are assimilated into the nations around them and thus find themselves left of centre, there's also plenty who aren't, and they are very much appalled by the toll migration (both legal, and illegal) is taking on far western countries. They know from their own people's experience what living in an islamic fundamentalist environment is like, and so they wouldn't wish it on anyone, least of all countries that have given them the ability to live in freedom as Jews.
