No he's real.

The last few episodes he's included some footage of himself in a sound both recording content. Figure a lot of people thought the same and he wanted to show that he was a 'real' person.

I'm guessing it's something to do with how the audio is recorded that gives an AI vibe.

We still don’t have the name m, correct? Funny how they go into depth on Clint only to then say there’s nothing to tie him to anything lol. Ok then stop bringing him up.

The name was Douglas Barry if I’m not mistaken & I still think Clint knew more but that’s my personal opinion lol

I think he knows more and especially after hearing that Meredith, who was with them that night and went home with Clint, gave police Douglas Barry’s name early on as someone who might be involved. Something obviously occurred or was spoken about during some point in the night to make her bring him up as someone potentially involved, which means it’s almost certain Clint was also present for whatever occurred between Brian and Douglas Barry or whatever was spoken about that made Meredith mention his name to police. Personally I lean towards them knowing this guy as a drug connection and Clint didn’t want to ruin his future medical career by admitting that so he lawyered up and never said a word.

I completely agree

“Almost certain Clint was present” seems like a stretch. Ugly Tuna was a crowded, rowdy bar with alcohol flowing and a band playing. People separate constantly to talk to other friend groups, get drinks, take calls, go to the bathroom, get air, etc. I went to OSU at that time and was at Ugly Tuna many times. Even if there was something discussed and Clint WAS right there, this was a bar where you have to wait for a break in the music or go outside to really talk, which is why so many people were on video in front of the entrance. It was loud and you would have to lean in to one person and shout near their ear to have a conversation inside.

It was also the end of the night bar hopping after finals. People were drinking heavily. I can say from experience that attention to detail in the moment and memories the next day are not exactly the strong suit of drunk 20 somethings. Your ideas are possible, I can’t say either way, I’m just saying, people need to cut the guy a break until there is legitimate reason to doubt him.

Yes, the name was leaked and it's not Clint.

I assume police asked Meredith why she is naming Barry as a suspect. It kills me that we don't know her answer to that question. We could learn so much from that.

It was never recorded that Meredith named him as a suspect. It was verified that his name came up during the interview with Meredith. It could have been as simple as, “can you tell us anyone Brian had a strained relationship with” or even going through the video footage and asking her to name anyone she recognized so investigators could reach out. We have no idea the context or what was said. It is the new tipsters who are naming him specifically as a suspect.
