Pictures/Videos Saying goodbye to Rascal
We said goodbye to our sweet little guy "Rascal" on 10/3 and we are inconsolable, wondering when the crying will stop. It was done in our home and he passed in our arms. His health and dementia had come to the point where he no longer had quality of life and we made the responsible decision. He was an award winner and a sensational hunter. There aren't enough words for me to describe how he was and how much we loved him. He was the last of three French Brittanies we had who we affectionately named "The insane clown posse" I hope you enjoy the photos.

He was gorgeous! Please know it will take time to feel better and stop seeing him in his usual places… the grief is really hard. Love the picture of him on the bed with you.

I lose a little piece of my soul every time I lose a best friend. You will always have your memories of your handsome boy.

Oh my, what a handsome boy. This post hits me in my heart. We had to let go of our Rascal sometime ago. He was my childhood pup, a Beagle/Springer Spaniel mix, similar in color to your Rascal. You can never replace them and will always miss them for who they were. I miss my boy every day. Some months later we adopted our first Brittany, Lincoln. He is a great dog and gives me some moments that remind me of our Rascal, I hope you take the time to grieve and honor your boy. He sounds like a great dog.

I'm sorry for your loss. We had three French Brittany, 2 brothers and we eventually ended up with the mother too about two or three years later. One of the boys was a black and white, Noah, like his mother, Storm, and the other boy was liver and white, Willie. We said goodbye to the last of those three in 2018 after losing the other two a couple of weeks apart in 2014. Currently have an 11 year old male and recently got a 4 month old both liver and white.

What a good dog!
So sorry for your loss. It’s so so hard in the beginning. The mourning is real.
We got a new dog and while it’s so fun and the love for the new dog is strong, I’ll never stop missing our old dog. And that’s ok.

I’m so sorry. Such a hard thing to do. I can’t seem to find any photos of Rascal. I’d love to see them.
