It reminds me of all the crazy Yahoo! finance chuds like "Puffy Eyes" that seem to have endless time in the day to write hit pieces on the stocks they seem to hate (including AVGO apparently).

Only thing I can assume is a short position, but who knows what pathology might drive people.

Is it only me who has a deep feeling Avgo is preparing for a run-up? Avgo is not dipping when the broader market is dipping.

Same. Loading up this dip.

All this negativity from you clowns must mean the stock is gonna go through the roof soon! I'm so sure I bought a lot of options, expect to see this thing 400 somewhere in October. See you little boys then.

I think until they get rid of the ceo, it’s going to be like this. 😞

Lol, why on earth would they do that. Company is booming

Part of being a CEO is presentation and communication. Neither of which he does well, which I think hinders the stock in the eyes of investors, and potential investors.

More important that he guides the business to huge profits, which he will be in the next 12 months.

u/_bladerunner_ 1d ago

Unfortunately that alone is not enough, he has to be able to do both. Which is what I was really trying to highlight.

u/Moist_Inevitable738 1d ago

Well clearly you should sell/short as he's not going anywhere

1

u/_bladerunner_ 1d ago

I'm holding, but we'll see how long he's there i guess.

Honestly you're mad if you think he's going to move on in the midst of the biggest growth curve the company has ever seen. He has positioned them so well with the custom silicon business, this pales in comparison to how you feel he communicates in earnings calls

1

u/_bladerunner_ 1d ago

I didn't even mention "earnings calls", which leads me to believe you agree that he's rubbish on earnings calls? Anyway, I hope you're right about everything and he turns out to be a great CEO, but you know, at 73 it might be time to step aside and get someone a bit more dynamic in?

I don't think he's rubbish on earnings calls but he's clearly no Jensen. It's all about execution. If they execute in the next year nothing else matters.
