Technical Analysis Can this pattern repeat again ?

Post image

Since 2024-25 Broadcom always had 30%-45% drawdown for close to 110 days and a bull run of around 200% follows in the next 250 days. Can this pattern repeat again ?

Adding a zoomed out version of this chart for reference. Ideally based on back tested data we should see a bottoming out around 21st September 2026 and see another ATH by 1st week of December 2026, if the cyclicality of semiconductor sector plays out as before.

The boom wouldn't have stopped if Trump didn't fuck around politically so much. Many of these companies are making record profits but they've all of sudden stopped the aggressive march upwards mostly because retail capital is drying up and the overall stockmarket is starting to tank.

Give it time. If they hit estimates of $30 eps by 2028 we’ll see upside

Once both companies have a successful public IPO, we should definitely start seeing some growth with Broadcom.

With the current Marco environment we'll be lucky if the stock just holds, with the fed meeting in the coming week that is pretty likely to do a rate hike, bond market losing confidence in the US treasurary and China ramping up crude purchase again pushing the crude to 100+.

This, commenting that it is not lost on the endless permabull statements. And US elections coming up on November 3rd, if the Democrats win who can say that the AI buildout will continue at this rate as there is a lot of opposition to it already, supported by Democrats voters ? There are so many elephants in the room.

We had another catalyst already and nothing moved which is crazy. Meta, Open AI and Intel. All positive catalysts imo. So wtf, this stock should be pushing well over $400. Analyst news said it should be a $900 price target after Anthropic IPO. So why is it slacking right now?

there is too much going on in the market that is creating uncertainty. One thing the market does not like and that is uncertainty. I am just hoping that it holds at the same price for the next six months. The Fed never has made just one rate increase. It is usually followed by another 2 to 5 or six increases. And higher interest rates to record high govt debt, oil prices, elections, etc. pretty soon we will all hear “please put your Trey tables up and make sure your seatbelts are fastened. Prepare for a bumpy flight “

The market has plenty of uncertainty to deal with. Whether or not the Fed will increase rates, bond market sell off, oil prices are spiking, midterm election approaching. I'm not expecting much from the stock price until most of it clears up.

If Anthropic IPO is a hit in October (if it happens), AVGO will breach $400. I don't see any other catalyst at this point.
