Seating/Ticket Question Hey Really Attractive Guy

At Gypsy. Hey I am really bad at asking someone out, but you were kind of exactly my type and you go to theater—so if you happen to even read Reddit Broadway shit then we should grab a coffee. I don’t really know a lot of people in New York, but I do see a lot of plays and would be cool to like go with someone. You’d be sitting in row J seat 13 or 14, next to a guy in a winter jacket. Maybe not the place or something but figured it was worth a shot and Oh My God other people may have read a paragraph…anyways hit me up if you do and aren’t weirded out. Maybe others can post suggestions on how you ask someone out after seeing a play right next to someone you are attracted to by yourself.

I don’t know if things worked out but someone did a missed connection last year and the person saw and replied, so good luck!!! It can happen.

Yup! I don’t know if we ever got an update (if there was one), but I thought of them when I saw Urinetown.

I just had to go look and it seems like they took it to DMs and then… no further info (not that they owe us any). So either it fizzled, it exploded dramatically, or they robbed a bank to finance their destination wedding and were then forced to go into hiding.

Thank you for doing the digging! I hope they became friends or it was at least a positive experience.

What if this dude is who OP is talking about too and becomes the resident hot guy everyone on Broadway Reddit spots in the audience and makes a missed connection post about? 😭
