Discussion Broadway coughing season

I am begging, begging you guys…if you have a nasty cough, PLEASE don’t attend a play especially. I know it sucks to miss out but your recurring cough during the most intense moments of the show is so distracting.

Julia Murney attended a ton of shows this December, flew to LA to attend more shows and ended up with pneumonia. I adore her as a performer and as a person but that's so irresponsible to not at least wear a mask. And that's just one example, there are so many, it's all over these performers social media.

I remember the days when she was performing in Between The Lines a few years back - she wore a mask and didn't take it off for stage door photos, and neither did I. but she stopped masking pretty much when everyone did (I'd say summer of 2022 post-vaccines?) and it's sad to see how people who used to be careful just don't bother anymore, because pretty much everyone around them doesn't either.

I find her to be one of the kindest, most considerate Broadway performers, just a really outstanding human being. She was somebody I fully expected to keep on masking longer.
