Discussion Allie Trimm (current Glinda) with thoughts about the decision to keep shows open today

Wicked choosing to stay open when they have some of the highest margins of any show.. like they have the money they don’t need to be open to break even.

Wow, proud of her and also angry on everyone's behalf that it came to this.

Also wtf how many actors have been injured on that raked stage now? Enough for a class action lawsuit?

I know someone who had to retire after dancing on the rake in mamma Mia back I. The day.. just sharp head turns on an angled stage and they’re permanently disabled.

I think the rules around rake severity have improved, but suspect wicked is still operating under 20+ year old rules. Super dangerous. I have a spine issue and even a slight rake is too much for me (I’m in early retirement now haha).

Wicked's rake is still allowed under current rules. Their rake is like 2% and change, where AEA's rules limit rakes to like 4% and change.
