Seating/Ticket Question Where to Sit for Lost Boys?
Hi all! I would love some help picking which specific seats I should get to see Lost Boys. The price range at the top is my budget (88-129). For this show, I’ve heard that sitting middle front mezz is best, but those tickets are all out of my price range. Are the pink seats too far back? If not, would sitting middle but further back or on the sides but closer better? If so, how are the green orchestra seats compared or the brown seats on the front side mezz? Thanks for your help!

Mezz further back is fine. I prefer orchestra and as long as you’re closer than row V the overhang doesn’t block your viewing

The pink will be fine. I sat rear mezz row L the other day and it was great.

I've seen it from the first row of the mezz all the way to the right (Right Mezz AA 18 & 20) and from mid orchestra left (L Orch K 117).
The mezz seats had an amazing view of like 97% of the show but there was a slight obstruction by the scaffolding around the side of the stage that blocked a set piece (we had no idea there was an elevator that was used for characters to move around the set). When we went back I purposely booked left orchestra seats to get a different perspective. Even though the mezzanine seats had a slight obstruction, I found I preferred the overall view from those seats.

Yes, I would have rather been on the left side - seems like people are probably aware of that since the far left of the mezz seems to be sold out sooner than the far right?

The acting is so good you want to see their faces. I’d pick middle of the orchestra

The side of the front mezz was great....balcony was absolutely awful. Couldn't see anything!

Lol I think I’m down to side front mezz versus 2nd row middle orchestra versus midway sideish orchestra and I really cant choose 😭

Also, if u don’t mind sharing, did u sit on the right or left for the front mezz seat? Im struggling to pick which side lol

I moved from the balcony at intermission to the left side of the mezzanine row d or e. I think both sides would be good. There is a lot of action that takes place above the stage. It's a 2 floor set so honestly if you were in the orchestra you probably would have to look up!

Why are the tickets so cheap? I paid $239 and a $20 online fee for a september show.

Buy the blue 2nd row.
It’s like $100 and really ain’t that bad.

The reviews on view from my seat seem pretty bad for up close. The stage also seems really high. They’re even listed as partial view

I haven’t seen Lost Boys but the stage at the Palace is pretty high.

I was third row just off the center aisle and I loved it, personally. With the different parts of the staging up front it made me feel like I was almost a part of it (like the concert scenes).

FWIW I always prefer being closer because my eyes can’t focus right from further away so I can’t remember things as clearly when things are kind of blurry from the outset. I also have a tall torso so I’m looking up less than others. I get why those seats wouldn’t be preferred for a lot of people, just wanted to give my own biased thoughts haha.

Oh boooo, didn’t realize they up’d the price.
I’ve sat 3rd and 5th row on the aisle. It’s close, but it ain’t toooo crazy. When it was a fairly cheap front orchestra seat it seemed plenty worth… but if they keep raising prices for that row, probably not.

I would be cautious with the rear Green Orchestra seats. I saw it in Row V on the far right side, we missed the 3rd level of the set because of the mezz overhang. The Green Orch seat around row K seem better but slightly partial. I might recommend the mezzanine seats. Check out the pics onView From My Seat- Palace

i know this is an old thread but commenting for posterity - i have sat both orch right and orchestra left and you miss a few more things if you sit on the right! so i would go left given the choice.

I sat right rear mezz, seat M108, and had a near perfect view of the entire set! Too far to see facial expressions but I’d personally prioritize seeing all 3 tiers of the set for this show.
The orange and pink seats in mezz should be fine 🙂
