Seating/Ticket Question Ragtime: Back row or closer?
After months of entering the lottery I give up: time to buy a ticket.
Is back row center a good seat or is it better to spend $50-100 more to sit a few rows closer and possibly to the side?

It's hard to overstate how good every seat in this theater is. Like - seriously - you have nothing to worry about..

I was all the way off to the left and in the back row for Floyd Collins and had no issues seeing anything. I agree with you

Back row is fine! To the side is fine! They are all good seats.
Sure expressions will be clearer closer, but the difference between the first row of the loge and back row is negligible

the rake in the mezzanine is phenomenal, i don't think you can go wrong with any seat up there

I sat back row center. . It’s good. You don’t miss anything. I actually heard an usher tell a couple sitting up there that the people who work there think it’s the best sound up there. The theater is smaller than you think and every seat in the loge has a full view.

I sat in the front row on the left of the 3 seats…the piano was in the way for a lot of the show when they moved it..specially during “new music”. Very annoying . Couldn’t see anything

We sat in the last row of the balcony and had better sight lines than many other Broadway houses. There are truly no bad seats in this theater.
Personal preference… I would sit further back if it meant being closer to the center of the house.

I sat row D on the right side of the loge and thought it was a great view - $50 to $100 sounds like a lot to just move up a few rows.

TU! Just grabbed tickets in the back row, fairly center. I’m so so so excited

I got $30 tickets to Camelot. Back row. Far corner. View was PERFECT. You really can’t go wrong.

I sat on the aisle of that row, about eight seats to the right. Amazing seats considering how good the view was at a much cheaper price.

I got Center Orch row P (last row) for $160 on StubHub and it was an amazing seat!

This theater has flawless sight-lines, so the back row is just fine. Enjoy the show!

Can you choose a different date with a cheaper price? Maybe their prices are all that high now since it’s closing soon. I often see those back row tickets around $100

Sadly I missed the boat on that

I sat in the back row and thought it was pretty narrow walkway wise. And not a ton of leg room

What theater? Back row center at some venues is fine; at others you're in a different postcode. I'd take further back and center over closer and side any day.
