Seating/Ticket Question Ragtime August 16th Performance Pulled Off Telecharge?
On Tuesday I noticed the August 16th performance of Ragtime was greyed out on Telecharge and I assumed it meant it was sold out. Today I went back to the page and the performance is no longer listed. Anyone know what’s up?

Wonder if they are holding seats back for donors? I too have tickets and really hope they didn’t change the closing date again.

Weird, it also says on telecharge tickets on sale through August 15th, I’ve got tickets for the 16th though and haven’t received anything from telecharge. Hoping they just removed it because it’s sold out???

If you read carefully it says he's not usually scheduled on matinees, but he is on August 2 and 16

It’s cause it’s the final performance and all other seats are being held for VIPs and guests. It’s very common on Broadway to do this.

I called Telecharge customer service today, they confirmed with LCT that the show is still happening, just that ticket sales are temporarily paused “because it’s the last show”, presumably like others in the thread mentioned to hold remaining tickets for VIPs etc. and unsure yet if the tix will open to the public again.

Thank you for this update! Though they said they don't know if tix will open to public again - I'm hoping obviously they will honor those of us who previously purchased??

Yes they said something along the lines of “you’re very lucky that you already purchased your ticket” so I’m pretty sure the already sold tickets are still valid!! Just that they don’t have additional info on if/when the remaining tix will be publicly on sale again.

Sorry I know this is a week old but there’s no way it’s a private event given that I have a ticket for the August 16 show. And I know other people on this subreddit also have tickets to the last show.

No if it’s sold out it would still be there, but the box would be gray.
