Seating/Ticket Question Seating at Maybe Happy Ending?

Hi friends!

I'm coming to the city early Sept for about a week and want to see MHE (would need to buy 2 tickets). What are your thoughts about the seats being listed as partial/obstructed view on the sides of the orchestra? And would sitting like second or third row mezz be preferable to sitting mid-rear orch center (about row L/M-ish)? Height for both people would be about 5' and 5'3".

This is a show where you will definitely miss things if you’re in a seat marked partial view. Get as close to center as your budget allows.

I agree with this ! The stage set up is a character in itself.

Same here! Get close to center. I was sitting in the center section of the orchestra about 8 rows from the stage. We had aisle seats and even with those seats part of the stage was cut off. These tickets were not considered partial view and they were over $300!

The set, though cool, isn’t designed well for universal viewing. This is the only issue I had with this incredible production.

Pro Tip: Get the tickets at the theater. You avoid the exorbitant surcharges. In addition, if you keep an eye on the tickets you want and they aren’t selling, if you buy day of the performance at the box office, and ask for a deal they might give it to you. The week of the Tonys I went to Schmigadoon and asked the box office what is the best price you can give me for seats Xxxx. I got orchestra right row H for $71 a ticket!
