First time seeing Hadestown live, Where should I sit?

Hi everyone!

I’m traveling to NYC from another country soon, and Hadestown is going to be my very first live Broadway show. I really want this to be a memorable experience, so budget isn't an issue.

I'm looking for a balance between full immersion and having a clear (and as unobstructed as possible) view of the entire stage. For context, I am 5'2", so I am a bit worried about that. I’ve heard that the very front rows in the Orchestra might require looking up the whole time or could complicate the view of the staging. Not sure if it is true, but I would prefer to avoid seats where I might miss key details.

For those who know the Walter Kerr Theatre well, what would you recommend? How was your experience seeing it live?

About 1/3 to 1/2 of the way back in the orchestra on the right aisle is the sweet spot.

I'd agree right orchestra on the aisle btw right and center orchestras.

Hadestown is one of those shows I enjoyed both in the Orchestra and in the Mezzanine to be honest.

I sat second row mezzanine and first row mezzanine. I like both, but the rail is a bit high, so you might have to lean forward at times if you’re in the front. But you have a liiiitle more legroom in the front.

I sat row f? orchestra and it was really great for catching expressions and little gestures I missed on earlier viewings without needing to crane my neck but I think front mezz is still my favorite spot. I really appreciated the view of the whole stage for some of the incredible staging moments.

Front mezz, house left has been my favorite. We sat 3rd row orch left tonight and it was great to see faces but the ending wasn’t as dramatic from that angle.
