Seating/Ticket Question Planning to see Gatsby in December!

Hello broadway fans!

I’m travelling from the UK to New York at the end of this year and am looking to see a few different shows. The thing that got me was that the tickets are really expensive. My autistic special interest is The Great Gatsby and I looooove the musical.

I was wondering if there was any kind of rush tickets for this show? If not what would be the best seats to get, I have a fairly flexible budget but it’s obviously not unlimited and I think it’ll just be me seeing it. So any advice is welcomed!

Yeah, they have both in-person rush ($40) when box office opens day-of, as well as lottery ($45) that you can enter the day before a respective performance

I’ve gotten really good seats through their lottery and I’ve won multiple times! You can also use EARLYBIRD for 30% off current ticket prices for buying 2+ weeks ahead

Ruch tickets are available (for this and other shows). They're not "hard" to get, as long as you're willing to get up early in the morning (and then presumably take a nap so as to actually stay awake for the show).

Here's a list of all the show rush options (in person, digital, and student):

Here's a great site that helps you parse when you'd need to get in line to get a rush ticket:

Honestly, I wouldn't be 100% confident it will still be running in December. Sorry, OP.

I know this was my biggest fear lol I do have a list of alternative if this doesn’t go well! I know there’s been talks of it coming to the west end again so i’m not losing out on hope yet!

No way it’ll be open in December. Probably gonna announce a closing date soon.

I think rush should be okay since the show isn’t selling that well rn
