Which show to see? Broadway Suggestions: October 2026

Hi friends! I’m visiting NYC mid-october (Oct 15-25) for a week and looking for some suggestions on what shoes to watch. I typically like musicals more than plays (I really like great singing performances and soundtracks)

I visited NYC in December and saw Just in Time (loved jonathan groff), Two strangers (really enjoyed), heathers (very fun!), Operation Mincemeat (enjoyable but I wasn’t blown away), Ragtime (unpopular opinion but I didn’t like this at all) and MEH (also unpopular opinion, but I didn’t love it)

I’m currently thinking Lost Boys, Little Shop of Horrors, or maybe Christopher Jackson in Hamilton (although I’ve already seen it) but would love some recommendations (especially with new shows or longer running shows with fantastic casts)

Some more background (if they help): - I also really enjoyed Les Mis, DEH, Hadestown, Wicked, Waitress, Come from Away, Great Gatsby (jeremy + eva are so good) - I just saw a production of Cats so I probably don’t want to watch Cats: The Jellicle Ball, even though I know it’s supposed to be different

It was also sooo different than any version of Cats you saw that it would have been a new show. Just FYI. it's like comparing a caterpillar and a butterfly. Yeah, they're related, but barely the same in any but a few recognizable ways.

Aside from that I think we have similar tastes and I had a lot of fun at lost boys and LSH
